Jeff Christensen, CPA

Jeff is Managing Partner of Capital Markets Board and provides counsel and communications services to client leadership through investor and financial media relations services.

For twenty-one years, Jeff has assisted numerous companies with transactions, corporate crisis, institutional targeting, direct contact with professional investors, and developing long-term street support.  

He has been a featured guest lecturer at numerous professional forums on issues including dealing with analysts in a crisis, institutional targeting, Regulation FD, key value driving messages, and what corporate executives rank as the top desirable credentials of an investor relations officer.

He has helped CMB develop the 10-Ways For Healthcare Companies To Attract Long-Term Institutional Investors & Media With Less Travel Involved™, and recruit institutional investors who will take a significant position.  These ten actions are based on hundreds of interviews with top institutional money managers and reporters. 

Jeff has held senior financial communications positions, including Co-Partner of Christensen & Associates, a 30-person investor relations and financial media relations firm.  He has developed award-winning programs in healthcare, energy, technology, consumer, telecommunications, and financial services companies including IMS Health, IBM, Gartner, CACI International, MacDonald’s, Honeywell, Sears, Reebok, Edward Jones, Providian Financial, and TELUS Corporation.  He was previously a member of the audit and consulting divisions of Arthur Andersen. 

Jeff is a Certified Public Accountant; an active member of Financial Executives Institute, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Association for Investment Management and Research; a Board member of the Public Relations Society of America, Connecticut Chapter; and was a Board member of National Investor Relations Institute, Connecticut Chapter.
